Story: You play 3 new characters that must escape from the Legato and find out what Weyland is after.
Good or Bad Story?: The story is ok as it’s easy to figure out what is going to happen. 0K!
Graphics: The dlc campaign looks more polished than the main campaign especially during the cut scenes, but it still suffers texture loading and frequent screen tearing that really hurts the game’s good looks.
Audio: The voice acting in Italian is really good and the music is really good. However some of the machine guns sound terrible when firing.
Game play:
Good: Stasis Interrupted plays exactly the same as the main campaign so there will be no issues jumping in to it. The controls remain the same as well. The game has both stealth and gun blazing parts, along with new locations that have some horror and creepiness. Xenomorphs Ai has improved a bit, checkpoints have improved, you can take different paths to reach some areas, you have 1 boss fight, and logs return to add more back-story. Now 1 of the most noticeable things in the dlc is that when you play alone you’ll mostly end up going to many parts of a level alone while your Ai partner(if your given 1) will stay behind, adding a lot more horror. And you will fight both Weyland soldiers and xenos.
Bad: Armor remains weak and your custom weapons don’t transfer to the dlc even though it doesn’t make a difference I still would have liked it if they would transfer. Also your weapons that you collected from the main story do not transfer either to the dlc and so you will have to find them again for all 3 characters as they don’t transfer to 1 another.
Overall: Stasis Interrupted is a great addition to Colonial marines and from my experience it ended up being better than the main campaign. But still it suffers from the many issues that the main campaign has that could have been fixed or improved on along with some new 1s that are in the dlc. Even though those issues are in the dlc it’s well worth the $10 to play through the game again in 4 new levels that are long. Now I hope to see more dlc for this game after this, because this really impressed me. This dlc is a must buy.
Likes: Graphics, music, voices, game play, coop, boss fight, radar, custom controls, flashlight, stealth, scares, story, new characters, and checkpoints.
Dislikes: Texture loading, screen tearing, armor, no weapon transfers, and no customs.
Wish list: More dlc and fix issues.
